In February 2020 the FCC released public access to the “Innovation Band”. This newly available wireless spectrum coupled with LTE technology enables organizations to build their own private LTE network. WCA will present on how schools can deploy your own private LTE network giving them the ability to provide a school to home network via publicly available spectrum without the use of carriers like Verizon, Comcast, etc. We will also provide information on our demonstration private LTE project in a Massachusetts school district.
