Susannah Remillard teaches middle school language arts and seminars on restorative agriculture at Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School. She has served as a summer scholar for the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Gilder Lehrman Institute. In 2019, she received a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching to conduct research in New Zealand on Māori identity and teaching difficult history. Currently, she is engaged with the Leadership Program at Qatar Foundation International, for which this curriculum resource has been developed.
