Chris Gosselin is the Assistant Principal at the Alden School, an elementary school serving students in grades three through five in the Duxbury Public Schools. Chris received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, VT in 2009, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College in Boston, MA in 2011 and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership/Organizational Management from EDCO’s Educator Leadership Institute/Endicott College in 2020. Before becoming an administrator, Chris taught English Language Arts in the Westford and Wakefield Public Schools, and served as a K-12 Digital Learning Coach in the Wakefield and Andover Public Schools. His presenting and writing on digital learning and literacy has been published on Edutopia.org and ISTE.org on topics including authentic assessment, digital storytelling, effective coaching practices and empowering student voice in learning. Additionally, Chris serves on the planning team of EdCamp Boston (edcampboston.org), one of the highest attended EdCamps in New England where each year, over 200 educators gather to share, connect and learn together in an un-conference setting. Chris is an active music director and teacher in the Massachusetts educational theater community. He was the founding music director of the Summer School for the Performing Arts (sspawestford.org) in Westford and also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild (metg.org).
