I am a child of Jamaican immigrant parents. I am a first generation American. I have two older sisters so I have had three moms my whole life.

I have been teaching 14 years 8 of those have been in Boston public schools. I still truly love teaching because I can assist learners through the process of discovery, and bring communities together through schools.

Personally, my wife Madeligne Richards and I have been Married for 7 years. We have two sons Joel Caleb Richards and Johan Sebastian Richards. We bought a three decker house 4 years ago in Fields corner. My wife Madeligne is a Financial capabilities manager.
