Dave Olsen is the Director of Facilities and Mechanical Construction & Maintenance for Salt River Project (SRP) located in Phoenix, Ariz. SRP is one of the largest power utilities in the U.S. He is responsible for all new construction, renovations, and operational maintenance for the 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate at SRP. He has implemented a variety of projects involving technology integration into facilities, including a collaborative project to bring Facilities Services, Information Technology, audiovisual, and Environmental Services together to harness the power of building automation, energy monitoring, and data analysis for process improvement and efficiency. In addition to his work at SRP, Dave has international business experience through humanitarian efforts in Africa where he has been instrumental in building schools throughout the continent.
