Bio
Rockford Todd is an engineering manager at Oklahoma State University (OSU), Institute for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ITLE). He is a 10-year video engineer at OSU, and has been the engineering manager for the past three years. Todd got his start in the video industry before college graduation at the University’s Educational Television Studio which later became ITLE. He served in the production department of ITLE for six years, then joined a Stillwater, OK based A/V company as a system engineer for two years. In the past three years since returning to OSU in his current engineering role, Todd has overseen several large projects including the overhaul of the broadcast studio from analog to HD. Todd and his co-worker Jeff Huber, designed, installed, and commissioned ITLE’s new HD studio from the ground-up. The project was a $3 million renovation that took slightly more than one year to complete. Other projects include the oversight and design of a new HD Teaching Studios across the campus, and the design and implementation of the A/V system in the new Human Sciences building. Currently, Todd is working with his team to design and implement a state-of-the-art A/V system in the new Spears School of Business on the Stillwater Campus. When deployed at the end of 2017, the five-story building will have the most advanced A/V system in the region. Todd is always looking to build new and exciting systems that help Oklahoma State University reach its land grant mission.
