Fernando Mora is the manager of Audio Visual and Multimedia Technology for the National September 11th Memorial Museum in New York City. In 2014, Mora was the lead AV/IT technician with AV integration firm working on the Museum, and part of the commissioning team. He was hired by the 9/11 Memorial Foundation to be the manager of AV and Multimedia for the Museum in 2015. Mora brings more than 20 years of experience in various areas of the AV industry starting as rack fabricator and field technician at SPL Integrated Solutions. His venue management experience includes 10 seasons as the technical director at Rentchler Field, home of the University of Connecticut Huskies football team. Mora now leads a team of four technicians and engineers tasked with maintaining and upgrading the audio-visual experience at the 9/11 Memorial museum. Part of his job is to direct the future upgrade path of the Museum’s various AV systems.
