This year marks the 37th edition of our prestigious Prix D'Excellence awards, which celebrates the most awarded beauty products that launched between September 2021 through September 2022. The winning products will join the elite ranks of beauty brands that have captured our judges' hearts and minds through exceptional formulations, efficacy, stunning packaging, and innovation.

Prix D'Excellence is the crème de la crème of beauty.

Our distinguished awards are broken down into three categories: International winners, with judges made up of beauty experts and editors from regions spanning the United States, Europe, China and Australia; American winners, with Marie Claire US editors serving as judges; and one Transatlantic winner, with judges from the United States and the United Kingdom. 

New for 2023: Our panel of editors are asking for your help selecting American winners. With hundreds of new beauty launches each year, we want ensure every award-worthy brand is considered.

Entries for 2023 have now closed. 

How will my product be judged?

A panel of beauty experts and beauty directors try and test products that launched between September 2021 through September 2022. The products are judged on exceptional formulations, efficacy, stunning packaging, and innovation.

A few things to keep in mind:

1. US winners can either include one brand product or the entire range, as long as products are all from the same brand.

2. Do not include fragrances.

What are the entry categories?

This year's awards are split into 6 categories: 

- Hair
- Skin
- Makeup
- Nails
- Tools
- Oral

How will winners be announced?

Winning products will be announced on marieclaire.com in March 2023. Winners will be notified under embargo two weeks prior to the award announcement live date. 

Do I need to send sample products?

Do not mail samples. We will contact you if we need samples of your product. 

Can I use the logo if my product is a winner?

Yes, we have a number of licensing packages available to winning and highly commended entries, so that you can make the most of your accolade. To request costs please contact Efi.Mandrides@futurenet.com. 

My product isn't a new launch, can I still enter?

To be considered, products must have launched between September 2021 and September 2022.
