Presented by leading media brands TV Technology and TVB Europe, these yearly awards recognize technology innovations and advances with a promotional program developed for multiple platforms.

The annual Industry Innovator Awards focus on people who innovate, rather than products, which can be added on to any product submission. Details in the FAQ!

What products are eligible?
Any company that has released new and/or upgraded hardware, software or other products for these markets since Jan. 1, 2019 (the beginning of the prior calendar year) may enter.

The PIA program, launched in 2013, recognizes excellence in manufacturing of products to serve the TV/pro video industry. Winners are selected by a panel of professional users based on the description provided by you via the nomination form. Evaluation criteria includes innovation of concept and design, creative use of technology, price value, and suitability for use in a broadcast TV/pro video environment.
 
 
The Product Innovation Awards are mostly about new products! But this year we also offer a special category so that you can, if you wish, nominate a person who innovates in TV/video technology, content production/delivery and government video, someone whose role deserves more appreciation. The form will guide you. Feel free to enter nominations in either category, or both.

Further, every product nominated, whether chosen for an award or not, will be featured in the special Product Innovation Awards Program Guide, to be distributed in digital edition form in early December to readers of TV Technology and TVB Europe
All early bird entries must be submitted by October 11, 2020 at 11:59 PM PST ($525).
 
All entries must be submitted by November 17th, 2020, 11:59 p.m PST ($595).
To save $70, nominate by October 11, 2020 for a rate of $525 per entry.
 
Each entry submitted after October 11, 2020 is $595 per entry.
Yes. Each requires a nomination form and entry fee.
A panel of judges, chosen in advance by the editors of our publications, will review nominations and choose the winners.
The nomination text is your chance to tell the product’s story. Explain to the judges what makes your product unique or better than other available offerings. Be as specific as possible. (Remember that your nomination text will also appear in the Program Guide, so write the nomination for public consumption, too.)

At the end of your nomination form you will be asked to pay via credit card.

Yes. As soon as you enter, you'll receive an email with a link to download a "Nominee" logo for your own use.

December 2020

Winners will be announced by early December. Winners and all nominees will be featured in the Product Innovation Awards Program Guide in December as well.
Winners receive an award for display and the winners will be reported by TV Technology and TVB Europe. All nominated products will be featured in the special Product Innovation Awards Program Guide, to be distributed in digital edition form to readers of those publications.
