HOST
Gaëlle Goossens was born in Reims and grew up in the countryside of Champagne, loving to spend time in the vineyard with her grandmother from whom she learned wine growing. Gaëlle joined Veuve Clicquot and the Development, Innovation and Communication of Oenology team mid-2016. She was responsible for several projects from technical improvements in winemaking to communication events. Gaëlle has led the department since 2019.
During the harvest season, she is in charge of the Verzy pressing centre in the Montagne de Reims and manages the vinification of Pinot Noir.
CO-HOST
Natalie Earl is Decanter’s regional editor for France, overseeing and commissioning French content across both print and digital. After a degree in French and Italian, she initially worked in wine tourism in the south of France before returning to the UK in 2016 to join the tastings team at Decanter, making the shift to the editorial team in 2021.
She writes and tastes wines for the magazine and website, with a particular focus on the wines of Languedoc.
